I have been designing natural playgrounds for a few years now but being able source the materials and develop the plan past the paper is something I have not had the chance to do.
Nature’s Atelier does not need much as the natural habitat provides an abundance of earth, trees, plants and loose parts to create with.
One of the missing elements is rock. So I have been rock hunting in the local area and found a wonderful range to choose from. Next week we will start to enhance our outdoor space so that the granite boulders will have settled in the environment by the time the children arrive to explore.
